cPanel License on the wrong IP

Postby chandranjoy » Mon Sep 05, 2011 5:44 am

cPanel License on the wrong IP:
Run the following command on server as root:
Check here with your primary server's IP.

Please check both of the following to see if both report the same IP broadcasting:

lynx --dump
lynx --dump

If also reports the same IP that is reporting and it is not the server's main IP, then it isn't cPanel but the machine itself that is broadcasting the wrong IP.
To solve this:
1.ifdown eth0:1 (which is related to the wrong virtual IP, eth0:1 for ex. here)
2.Run "/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt" as root
3.Now issue will fixed, try to login into cPanel
4.If cPanel works again activate the IP, "ifup eth0:1"

If shows a different IP than cPanel is reporting, please open a ticket with us using WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link
